Morning Aural: Gregory Isaacs

Reggae’s one of the best aural genre’s for a beautiful spring day such as today – for those of you not in NYC, we actually feel sorry for you, because it’s glorious.

To celebrate this blessing of a day, let’s all take a few minutes to enjoy this reggae legend Gregory Isaacs‘ 1978 performance of “Tune In”. Not only does it perfectly suit today, but it’s great for when you’re getting all seductive and shit. Trust us…

Also, we’re in such a great mood today, we’ve included a 1983 performance of “Night Nurse”. Where? After the jump, of course..

I don’t know about the rest of you, but I’m boycotting anything/everything related to Jamaica. I thought our country was full of nuts, but theirs is full of super-crazy-ass homophobes!

…with reggae stars leading the charge, no less. The only thing remotely Jamaican I ever want to see is Staceyann Chin, thanks.
