Morning Aural: Miles Davis
Special Appearance By John Coltrane!

If we could travel back in time, we'd definitely book it to one of Miles Davis' live shows. Can you imagine sitting back and watching Davis blow his horn? Well, now you don't have to, because we've got two "rare" videos of the jazz master doing his thing. Above you've see him and John Coltrane saying "So What?"

After the jump, a solo Davis serves up some "Bitches Brew". For those of you feeling the Wednesday blues, we've included a 1964 performance of "No Blues".

Jazz at a site for the gays?!?! Un-freaking-believable! In a good way though. Post some Cassandra Wilson and I'll be your official stalker.

Nice tribute. Reading the Miles story took me back to 1978 when I saw him in a small club in Philadelphia. It was a special night–Miles being drugged up didn't matter much. I even was allowed to use a tape recorder to openly taped the performance. Thanks for jarring a memory.
