Soul singer Otis Redding had a knack for starting slow and ending fast and hard - something we should all take to - um - heart after listening to this live version of "Try A Little Tenderness."

No. 2 · Otis, My Man!

One of the greatest performers of all time. Sad he died so young. If you're into some more emotionality from the same concert, "I've Been Loving You Too Long" is a must see.

As for the funky soul, "Shake" from this show is off the charts good.
