Morning Aural: The Pointer Sisters


Did the video for “Jump (For My Love)” always include footage of athletes leaping, vaulting and bounding? We don’t remember and we think it’s a bit odd, especially since this is a love song.

Regardless, we dedicate this 1983 track to the American men’s Olympic basketball team, which beat Germany 106-57.

amazing how the dresses they wore then are still in fashion. diane von furstenberg if i am not mistaken.
