Morning Aural: The Stranglers
The Stranglers are the best band you’ve never heard of. The British boys got their start waaay back in 1974 and made a name for themselves in the punk scene. Their new wave experimentation, however, set them apart from many of their peers, including the Ramones, with whom The Stranglers toured.
To give you a taste of the gang’s sound we’ve included three faily different tracks: “Get A Grip On Yourself,” “Skin Deep” and “Golden Brown”.
Yay! Love the Stranglers… Skin Deep is one of my top 10 80′s songs. Nice find guys.
