Morning Aural: Tom Waits
Critics are absolutely raving about Scarlett Johansson’s forthcoming album, a collection of Tom Waits covers. We’re not a big fan of Johansson as an actress, so we can’t say we’re looking forward to her aural offering. We’d rather keep the original Waits, whose “Downtown Train” we’ve included above.
Truely, if you don’t care for her as an actress , you are much less likely to find her imitations of Tom Waits remotly gratifying, unless she took a bunch of male hormones and had something shoved down her throat. . .
