Morning Goods: Diogo Nicoletti

dnoH.jpg
The boys over at The Boy have outdone themselves with this month's offering of flesh: Diogo Nicoletti.

Like all The Boy's men, Nicoletti's a stunning model with a hot bod. Unlike some of their other boy bits, however, Nicoletti's look lies closer to handsome than studly. He even looks regal in the crotch-from-below shots. Now that's talent…

Handsome guy.

Has anyone noticed that "The Boy," a Brazilian site, only honors white males? It seems kinda strange that in a country as diverse as Brazil that a modern publication would only show idealize white men. I can't recall ever seeing a person of visible Native American, Asian, or African descent or people who are visibly mixed.

Brazil's black population is only 10%. It's Asian is less than 1%. There are a lot of mixed race Brazilians. I don't know "The Boy" all that well, but do you think they have mixed race guys that you're assuming are white?

Anyway, blogs like mostproper have lots of black Brazilians if you want to check it out.

Handsome?!? I guess you're one of those poor souls who finds Toby McGuire handsome. I'm just not into geek chic.

Anonymous,

First, you assume that I'm interested in only "black" men.

Second, I don't believe in the One Drop Rule that says that one drop of African ancestry makes one "black." If that were the case, Heather Lochlear and Queen Elizabeth would be "black."

Third, much of visibly mixed-race/mulatto population of Brazil would be considered "black" by American standards. And vice versa would also be true since the majority of African-Americans are mixed-race.

That said, my concern was that no "boys" who didn't appear "white" have been honored. All of the boys have had a "white" phenotype. In Latin America a "white" phenotype is valued more than a non-"white" one. Racial purity is not a major concern amongst many Latinos.

Noah, they had Leandro Okabe not so long ago.

He was Asian/White I believe.

But yeah, they could do better with the minorities.
Anon, we're not idiots. You can tell someone who is "mixed" race most of the time, and maybe there are officially only 10% pure black in Brasil, but if you've ever visited then you know that there are a heck of a lot of mixed peoples then.

I just think for Brasilians (like a lot of places in the world) light skin is the ideal. Right or wrong, it just is…

Guys, lighten up. Some days your going to find the Morning Goods guy attactive, other days not so attractive. That is what makes us all different. If you think you can post better looking guys than the ones you see on here maybe you should open up your own web sight.
Keep the pics coming. If I dont think the pic is attractive, my other half sometimes does.
Lighten up on the guys in the pics and the web designers.
