Ok, so not all people who read this site are 40 year old muscle bears who spend all their time in the gym. Some, like me, weren’t born with muscles blazing. Put down the protein shake and appreciate that slim can be sexy, too. This guy has a refreshingly pre-Creatine body. Post someone with a Brazilian booty and people will complain that the model needs to lose weight; post a couture model and someone will cattily decry his lack of muscle tone. There is no single ideal of attractiveness.

So far, Queerty tends to only show two of them.

I haven’t seen any jocks(i.e. athletes) only guys who look like the could do a few turns on weights; occasionally a twink (this guy might count.) They have what ever are international male types. Some Arabs /semetic men & black guys.

What do you have in mind ? that’s only fair e.g. over 70, hefty, anorexic etc.

There are more the two body types in the world. People who aren’t skinny aren’t automatically old, fat and hairy.

When you understand that, you’ll understand why some of us get upset that Morning Good’s view of diversity tends to be “skinny black guy, skinny white guy, skinny hispanic guy.” oh, and then we throw in some gym queen every now and then.

I swear, I think gay men learned how to act, and what to expect from the world, from porn.

it’s been brought up before. The alternatives YOU brought up aren’t very helpful. There are guys out there with chest hair, with a barrel chest, who’s faces aren’t long and thin, who might not have a 6 pac, who are older then 19, the list goes on. Some of these guys like to pose for pictures and are still good looking.

The world isn’t divided up into twinks, “jocks”, and bears. Yet, in the gay community, we insist on doing so.
