My suspicion is there because its smacks of hypocrisy when you take in to account all of the pontificating you are doing on the Obama/Warren issue.
You are upset the President-elect is ignoring or insulting the gay voting block. Yet you acknowledge that you understand the decision to invite the Reverend as political move, but ignore the political pitfalls of embracing the LGBT community.
When will our community stop placing a spotlight on those who destroy their lives with porn and escorting? When will our “gay media” stop holding up these individuals as “celebrities”?
Would people be more willing to take us seriously when we finally “put it back in our pants?”
A lot of mainstream media knows that “sex sells”, but they also know where the line is drawn. Did the new and improved Queerty forget or are they trying to find a new income stream. I hear the porn websites are spending a fortune to lure in new subscribers. Perhaps this entry is the warning signal that the old Queerty is gone and that its about to become another portal for porn.

@Richard The only way society is going to advance is by accepting sex as nothing more than a biological function like sneezing or eating. Nobody gets upset by somebody sneezing and the same should go for sex. Embracing prudery isn’t going to advance civilization and will empower bastards like Warren because gay sex is icky because sex in general is icky in their twisted, closed minds, which is stupid. I’m not saying we need to have orgies at elementary school playgrounds, but sex should not be such a big deal.
And, keep in mind the other end of the spectrum: violence. It’s perfectly normal for the average child to see over 10,000 violent images on television before they hit puberty! For some asinine reason our society thinks it’s appropriate to televise real execution shootings caught on videotape on the public airwaves but showing a blow job is going to scar children’s minds for life. If you ask me I’d much rather children be exposed to 10,000 sex scenes than 10,000 violent scenes. At least with the sex people are having a good time–if done properly and with respect–while violence doesn’t help anybody including the people who commit it.

@Brentbent- Well said, I’ve always thought how ridiculous it is that people have such an enormous problem with kids seeing anything remotely sexual, but torture porn is put in the movie theaters where kids can easily get at it… I agree with you completely.
