Fabulous or Fail? Mothra-Inspired Sneaks
It’s Friday and like you, we’re just sitting here, waiting for the weekend to start–so we invented a fun little item to help you waste away the time.
These here are a pair of sneaks from Puma’s new Terror King line, which is is inspired by various Japanese monsters. There’s a pair of mecha shoes, a pair of lizard shoes, but it’s the Mothra-inspired ‘Moth King’ kicks that caught our eye, though we can’t decide if the fur and winged print is gorgeously cool or a crime against humanity. Not sure why but when I see those I think of test pattern for tvs in the 50s.

I kinda love them, and that they were inspired by Mothra.
The rest of the kaijuu sneakers need a fresh-ass logo like the rainbow on them.
I don’t know why, but I kinda love them, and lol at Mark who used the fresh-ass logo comment!
I like Pumas but I’m definitely not a fan of this particular design. They remind me a bit of Native American shoes.
