That inside out film festival was back in May. I think its just the overstaffed public sector (customs officials)trying to make it appear like they actually do some work sometimes….so they just randomly decide to block something. Of course if you wanna bring anything truly illegal into canada just send it thru the monhawk reserve on the Ontario/New York border…cowardly customs officials won’t bother to enforce any laws here…in fact they abandoned their posts because the natives got riled over the summer.

@KevinVancouver: I hope your Canadian brethren will remember this incident whenever they bash Americans for doing similar stunts. Judging by the way you supposedly superior Canadians act toward us, I have all right to use this isolated case as a demonstration of why all of Canada is a backward hodunk society in need of education from us enlightened Americans. At least we only stop terrorists and minorities at the border.

yes we have gay marriage and gay adoption but we still have these dil holes at the border who feel they must act as the moral compass for an entire nation.. an entire nation that really doesn’t give 2 shits.. our own historic gay and lesbian book store “Little Sister’s ” as gone to court over and over again fighting Canada Customs ! So frustrating! What are they trying to protect us canadians from ? Hello it’s called the INTERNET we can see whatever we want… sheesh
