With that highest of high holy days, National Vodka Day on October 4, the folks at Target 10 marketing have published a survey that proves what we’ve suspected for some time: the gays know how to have a good time.
Using Experian Simmons Spring 2011 LGBT study, their infographic (right) compares the way gay men and women eat, drink and be mary merry.
When it comes to drinking, the straights don’t hold a shot glass to us: 27% of gays and lesbians have had three or more vodka drinks in a night, as compared to 23% of straight folks.
Unsurprisingly, queers like to dance: 40% of gay-male respondents and 30% of lesbian respondents have been clubbing in the past year, as compared to 20% of hetero guys and dolls.
How about we take this to the next level?
Our newsletter is like a refreshing cocktail (or mocktail) of LGBTQ+ entertainment and pop culture, served up with a side of eye-candy.
And when it comes to dining, women of any orientation love going organic while the gays prefer foreign foods and “cooking for fun.”
