With 250 films and over 30 countries represented, this year’s NewFest, celebrating its 20th anniversary, promises to be one of the most remarkable.

From June 5-15, the New York Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, & Transgender Film Festival will showcase some of the best works for the LGBT audience. This year, audiences will see Centerpiece screenings including Guido Santi and Tina Mascara’s loving portrait of a 30-year relationship Chris & Don: a love story and Kyle Schickner’s look at three women’s lives in Steam!.

Ticket holders and NewFest badge holders are also invited to the The John Outcalt NewFest Lounge, where audience members get a chance to mingle with the incredible talented teams behind this year’s films.

Queerty is a proud sponsor of NewFest, presented by Showtime, along with Tylenol PM, HERE! Networks, A&E Indie Films, Logo, Continental Airlines, and the Data Lounge, and invites readers to buy tickets at NewFest.org.

Steam looks interstesting…or at the very least the young girl Kate Siegel does. :)
