Nikki Araguz Loses Case, Judge Declares Her Marriage Void

Texas Judge Randy Clapp has ruled that because “Nikki Araguz was born a man, Thomas Araguz was not married on the day he died, and any marriage – formal or informal – is void.” That means Araguz will not get the $600,000 property, benefits, and insurance left behind when Thomas died fighting a fire, but no word yet on who might receive it. Nikki has already vowed to appeal. So does that mean her reality show is off or is this ruling just part of the drama? So meta.

Wasn’t she trying to tank benefits that should have went to his children? If that is the case, then this bitch got exactly what she deserved. No woman (or man), not even a real one should come before a man’s children, and the fact that any marriage allows for that is a true shame.

I hope Ms. Araguz pursues the appeal & gets what is rightfully hers. Based on what I’ve read here & elsewhere, it seems the judge’s own opinion may not have considered all the evidence & not been consistent with legal precedent & laws re: Nikki’s legal gender status.

P.s.: Ignore the ignorant troll “Daez” who comments on issues about which he knows nothing. Don’t believe me? Do a search on some of his fact-free rants on genetics, stem-cells, anything trans-related, or anything having to do with state versus federal law.

Way to go omitting any reported facts.[a la old Queerty]

The marriage was illegal regardless of this Texas “gender of birth” thing, because she was still pre op when they married.

Therefore the marriage was man and man, not yet legal in Tx. She had surgery 2 months AFTER the marriage, and to add insult to injury, she never changed her identification legally to Female.

There’s bullshit going on on both sides. Like the firefighter’s family claiming they outed her as a man and he was “shocked” and they got separated.

IF she WERE Female when they had gotten married, it would be a different matter. OR if SSM were legal in Tx. And yes, she’s going after his pension benefits to the exclusion of his two minor children. A grifter, she has pulled other stunts such as going on Springer, having a man she dated (as a woman) brought on, and ambushing him by announcing she was male oh ha ha aren’t I funny.

Of course the fire fighter knew she was a man. Unless they were never intimate, yeah right. And she was able to go get SRS and recuperate on the downlow? But this is the same firefighter who never even bothered to list his children as life insurance beneficiaries. She deserves nothing.

If you go to all the trouble of SRS and screw the entire point up so sloppily, cut me a break. You get married two months before, live in freaking TX, and don’t change your id, then you don’t even have your ~husband update his life insurance beneficiaries properly even though he’s a fire fighter and your only source of support? Really? The whole story is screwed up.

It just occurred to me that perhaps they married two months before the SRS to have his insurance pay for the SRS. He was a volunteer fire fighter so he must have had another source of income that might have included insurance since it’s doubtful that a TX municipal fire fighter policy (if they even have one for volunteers) would cover SRS. Then again, that would have likely come out in court unless Colorado seals the records.
