Newark Mayor Cory Booker is a strong ally to the political bosses that run New Jersey, he’s one of Republican Chris Christie’s biggest cheerleaders, and his pro-Wall Street agenda makes him a terrible candidate for governor (unless the GOP nominates him).
While dedication to civil rights and equality must be a litmus test for any Democratic nominee, gay or straight we cannot afford to get lost for in this man’s eyes or any politician’s lies. The strong arm tactics used in Newark to replace Donald Payne Jr on the City Council show the true flavor of Cory Booker, who laid off 1150 city workers, unleashed a brutal police force on innocent civilians and stands among the one-percenters that aim to privatize public education.
When someone shows that he wants to end democracy and extend the right-wing war against the middle-class, it is safe to assume that his more progressive policy positions are merely a layer of bullshit.
