“No Homo”: The Evolution


For those of you homos not in the know, straight men often use the phrase “no homo” to deflect any gay suspicion.

This linguistic shield almost always follows a statement which can be misconstrued as of the gay variety. (And no one wants to be mistaken for queer.) But where did the term come from?

Some dude named Darnell Winfrey, apparently – and hilariously!
