What is the Vancouver school board thinking? Children are there to learn? NO. NO. NO. The board is there to reinforce whatever are the current whims of most vocal, obnoxious parents, especially if they advocate a particularly narrow brand of Christianity. Since after all, this is a Christian country founded on those principles right?

Of course Jaroslaw is being sarcastic.

I applaud Vancouver for taking this action. We don’t want the next generation to grow up as bigoted as this one, do we?

I thought that was tongue in cheek but maybe I’ll have to bone up (pun intended) on my writing skills.

(Thanks CG) :)

I and my partner moved from the states to Vancouver 3 years ago.
It fuckin rocks people! But beware, if you come for a visit between June and November you will never want to leave. And the pretty boys and girls from all over the world does not help either!

Vancouver is a city consistently ranked as one of the top 5 cities in the world to live. Culturally diverse, world class, socially and environmentally conscious and a progressive, intelligent mindset.
Not to mention beauty beyond compare and some of the best food in the world. In Vancouver people are fighting to find housing for the homeless, Better care for the those with mental illness & substance abuse issues and for more off leash dog parks. It is wonderful to live in a place that war, equality and spying on people are not the primary news stories.
