Not Quitting.
Apparently there are rumors that Kathy Griffin’s assistant, Jessica Zajicek quit because the comedienne’s unruly and a horrible boss. Griffin insists, however, that the assistant’s simply on vacation. She’ll be back soon, so you can stop worrying. [Tuned In]
In the first season of Kathy’s show you got to see her friends. they would talk about how they got together and would come up with jokes and lines for her, watch certain shows every week etc… As the show progressed, you never saw her friends anymore. Kathy looks like her ego got the best of her and instead of having friends, she now discusses jokes with her staff, who need to kiss her butt because she pays them. No wonder the girl quit.
If anything can be said about Kathy having watched her show, it’s that she knows how to stage incidents like appearing to fall out of a limo drunk in London streets, and how to manipulate the media by issuing a press release stating her assistant is going on vacation only to intentionally create rumours of alterior motives for the leave. Personally, I think her PR approach is brilliant!
I still have no idea what Team Griffin does that requires 3 people who seem to do little other than hang out with Kathy and collect paychecks.
Nevertheless, this is exactly the kind of thing Kathy would cook up to keep her name up front without having to spend any money.
People are actually worrying about this 1 minute of fame assistant? That’s sad.
