Numbers For Maryland’s Marriage-Equality Referendum Look Good

Good As You’s Jeremy Hooper is claiming early poll results for Question 6, the referendum in Maryland to codify marriage-equality legislation passed in the Legislature last year, look good for our side.

Shortly before 9pm, Hooper tweeted “Early voting for MD’s Question 6: 222,748 to 193,354 (equality) vs 193.354 (discrimination.”

Hooper didn’t say how he came by those numbers—or how relevant they were in a state of some 5.8 million—but  we choose to be encouraged by them nonetheless.
