A New York dentist with a practice in Chelsea was arrested this week for allegedly providing root canals to a drug dealer in exchange for meth. Not only that, he is also accused of distributing child pornography out of his office, having sex with dogs, and attempting to spread HIV to unsuspected sexual partners.

The FBI and the Drug Enforcement Administration say they had been watching Dr. John Wolf for two months before they arrested him at 5 a.m. Friday morning.
According to the official complaint, Wolf “provided dental services to a drug dealer in exchange for methamphetamine, some of which the defendant would use personally and some of which he would distribute to others.”

The complaint also accuses the 59-year-old of using his office to distribute kiddy porn. In a recorded conversations with an undercover FBI agent, Wolf allegedly “provided the undercover agent with a flash drive containing files depicting child pornography, including videos of children as young as toddlers being raped by adult men.”

But it gets worse. Because on top of all that, the complaint also claims Wolf told an informant in a recorded conversation that he deliberately poked holes into condoms “in an intentional attempt to spread the HIV to his sexual partners.”
He also said he enjoyed going to animal sex parties, and that he got particularly “excited” by kiddy porn “depicting an 8-year-old ‘retarded’ girl engaged in sex.”
Those who know Wolf are genuinely shocked by the allegations.
“I never suspected this,” one of his employees told the New York Post. “He’s an amazing guy, a very giving person. He helped a lot of people in the community.”

“You don’t know what secret lives people have,” one of Wolf’s patients, Robert Risko, added. “But he was a jovial, happy fellow. He didn’t seem lecherous.”
Wolf has been charged with conspiracy to possess methamphetamines with intent to distribute, as well as possession and distribution of child porn. His lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, says the dentist is “devastated” over being caught.
“He’s devastated,” Agnifilo said. “(He) woke up into a day where his life is going to be completely different. And these charges are not like other charges. These are charges that are hard to weather and I think he is understandably shaken.”

I will never, ever, ever understand how any adult man could get sexually turned on by children and to actually stick your adult d**k in a child is the most vile thing on earth. Just pure evil to me. This story illustrates several things to me. The first is that someone with a respectable and friendly appearance can be an absolute monster. The second is that it’s foolish to rely solely on condoms to protect you from HIV when Truvada can be taken as well. Another possibly is that some of these allegations may not be true(I especially hope the crimes against kids aren’t) and that this may be another addict spinning out of control.

Meth may have exacerbated this doctor’s behavior, but we’re talking about a mentally ill or disturbed person when he’s admitting that he enjoyed watching a mentally disabled child being raped (because that’s what sex with a mentally disabled child is, RAPE), actively tried to harm others by poking holes in condoms, and attended “animal sex” parties, i.e., raping animals. He shouldn’t be practicing anything except walking around a prison cell and conversations he will have with a psychotherapist.
Really horrifying stuff. Interestingly enough, I saw the report about this last night on TV, but it was nowhere to be seen tonight, as usually is the case with professionals who are commit criminal acts, even heinous ones like this one.

But after some other spurious prosecutions with over the top accusations calculated to cause and exploit homophobic moral panics (the Rentboy case comes to mind) it is hard to believe a lot of allegations made by prosecutors.
