NY Gov. Andrew Cuomo Hires Cute Gay Man To Flirt With State Lawmakers

The way we live now: Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s hiring of a well-known (and well-liked) New York City homosexual, man about town Erik Bottcher, is construed by the media as a sign the governor is truly committed to marriage equality, or something. Cuomo, who served as a gay community liaison for lesbian City Council Speaker Christine Quinn, will now serve as Cuomo’s special assistant for community affairs, a just-created cabinet post. So, what, it’s Bottcher’s job to run around Albany convincing Republican state lawmakers they should back a marriage bill? Bottcher is handsome, but not that handsome. That is one fine looking man. If he’s even half as smart as he is attractive, it’s a great choice by the new governor.

Erik Bottcher is a CLASS ACT. Congrats to Erik for the new appointment – I’m confident he will not waste this opportunity. Cheers to Gov. Cuomo for recognizing an exemplary young leader in our community.

Agreed…Bottcher is smart and intuitive…well respected in the political/gay circles he moves in. We all benefit from him taking this role.
