NY Sen. Joe Addabbo’s Birthday Celebration With Legally Recognized Family Goes Awry

Joseph Addabbo, the Democratic New York state senator who voted against gay marriage, just wanted to raise some cash during a birthday fundraiser, and then Queer Rising’s activists crashed the bash. Which begs the question: Do these guys do bar mitzvahs?

well. these peeps have big brass ones to interrupt that birthday bash. Of course Sen. Addabbo has balls too for taking $$$ and not doing what he promised. But what do people expect, they are politicians and they lie. Sadly, there are only a few good ones who do what they say they’ll do.

Unfortunately I don’t know of anyone running against him in the primary, looks like he will be nominated tomorrow at the State convention. So all I could say is no one should donate a cent to this politician if LGBT issues matter! There are so many other winable seats with pro-marriage equality candidates. Let’s support them!!!

BRAVO. The hypocrisy is crystal clear. I think straight people who advertise their sexual orientation should be confronted for telling when not asked? The courage and bravery of QueerRising is commendable. Yabbadabbadoo needs to be shown the exit.
