NYC’s Not-Gay Ex-Mayor Ed Koch Gets His Own Piece Of Giant Steel

It’s here, it’s queer, and I doubt anyone is going to get used to it: Yesterday the New York City Council voted 38-12 to rename the Queensboro Bridge after the city’s gayest mayor. It will now be known as the Ed Koch Queensboro Bridge, but don’t ever try telling a cabbie to use it. [photo via]

Renaming the Queensboro Bridge for Ed Kroch seems oddly appropriate.
