      A well spent life. I am ashamed that I had no idea who he was.

      Good grief. I can’t imagine saying that in 1981. I can’t even imagine doing that at work today. He’s a braver man than I am, and we can thank people like Sgt. Cochrane for putting their careers and even lives on the line for the progress we’re seeing today. I hope very much that he’s vindicated on Tuesday.

      @jwrappaport:

      Don’t be afraid. Work is not as important as self-respect. I know a lot of gay people are still afraid to be their true selves within the working environment, but that needs to change. Stop defining yourself from the bigotry of others.

      Ok, I know that may not be possible due to rules and laws, but break them !
