Obama 'experienced discrimination firsthand and that's why I had a lot of faith'

SOUNDBITES — "[President Obama] was someone who had experienced discrimination firsthand and that's why I had a lot of faith. I thought, OK I can fight this, and maybe by January Obama could be inaugurated and this won't matter. … I will fight this in uniform and I'll fight it without. I swore an oath to defend and support the Constitution, I'm going to speak out and fight this until the law is repealed because it is not constitutional." —Lt. Col. Victor Fehrenbach, one of some 13,000 servicemen and women discharged under Don't Ask Don't Tell [AP]

Yes, the irony is amazing. But Obama is "Iconic", how dare I question him. Call me a racist.

Even apart from President Obama, what about Congress? We do have some representatives who could, you know, repeal DADT legislatively….

@Tony:

Oh Tony. You may not be a racist but you are a race-baiter.
