Slick – and have no doubt whatever you hear, suspect the opposite or the unimaginable. To #4 INEXILE, yes protect your money, because the goal is hardly sociological equality but expansive government control, media manipulation and emotional bumperstickers for Boobus Americanus. I am a straight female sister of a gay man, fiscally conservative and a populist. We are not all the enemy, the political machine and complete abdication of the media in it’s journalistic responsibility is a much greater danger to civil rights. I’m sadly lacking any solution. I mean you can’t even find a candidate to support who can win without a machine at a federal level. sigh

Yes, I received this video email and I chose to Opt-Out from organizing for America! I also let them know why in the comments section.

This man has squandered a chance to enact ALL of his campaign promises. Congress has ALREADY stated they will not be addressing any controversial legislation in 2010, that means us.

I will also be sitting out the next election and keeping my money.

If he just once, just once used his bully pulpit to prove he has moved DADA or DOMA repeal higher on his agenda; if he just once told congress that gay rights are so important they cannot wait [until I lose my political capital], then I’d loosen up on the guy and actually volunteer and not be so apathetic. Voted in 2008, didn’t in 2009.

I know that he’s not for gay marriage, and I know that everything can’t get done in one year. What I don’t know is why he is so afraid of a political backlash on DADA. This isn’t 1994, and Obama should have picked some the low-hanging fruit such as the 80% popular approval of gays in the military. Time’s running out. At this rate I’m not so certain that I’ll vote in 2010.

You are a fraud who ran on lies and empty promises -
and we now know the only hope we can have in you is for kow-towing to religion and throwing billions at Banks.

You will be a one term president and the cowardly useless Democrats will never have blind support again.

You are just as much a war-monger as your predecessor – except you turn meeting the slain soldiers coffins into a PR stunt for press corps.

You are not a celebrity – you are a world leader
– asked by voters to lead the country on promises you made.
Better do it fast – while you have a Dem house majority
otherwise you blew a golden opportunity…

in the meantime – act and stop with the empty promises and
pie in the sky bullshit. We are on to you.

It seems clear now that the cesspool of Illinois politics that you rose from – is very much about WHO you really are.

You will leave office in 2012 with millions coming for speaking engagements, book deals and a Nobel Prize for doing nothing.
