Obama Puts Lesbian In Charge Making Nice Between Government And The Plebes

The day after he reminded America he wasn’t a Muslim at The Family’s National Prayer Breakfast, President Obama announced (not personally, of course, but through the official flack system) he was appointed Nancy Wilson, head of the Universal Fellowship of Metropolitan Community Churches (supposedly the “nation’s largest denomination serving LGBT churches”) to the President’s Advisory Council on Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships, which he put together in 2009. As we understand it, Wilson is also a big lez, which should make conversations with fellow panel member Archbishop Demetrios Trakatellis — the Archbishop of the Greek Orthodox Church of America — seriously F-U-N!

The Most Rev. Dr. Katharine Jefferts Schori is the 26th Presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church, where she serves as Chief Pastor and Primate to the Episcopal Church’s members in 16 countries and 110 dioceses is also a lesbian!

“President Obama announced…he WAS appointed Nancy Wilson.”

So is Queerty now telling us that the President is a drag queen, transvestite, or just a singer in a rock and roll band?

Congratulations to Reverend Nancy Wilson. Nancy has served UFMCC in various leadership roles for almost her entire adult life. And yes, she is a lesbian.

The subject of social justice for gays and lesbians rarely fails to be mentioned in her sermons. She just teaches the good news of compassion and love at every opportunity.

I suppose the President has discerned that there is a conversation in and between churches, as to whether or how they ought to minister to gay and lesbian people. Omitting one entire side of that conversation from his advisory council, could result in the President receiving bad advice.
