Office Of MS Gov. Haley Barbour Finds Janet Reno’s Gender Hilarious

In 1993: Janet Reno was unanimously confirmed by the U.S. Senate to become the first female attorney general. (It took longer to confirm her gender than to confirm her law license.)

—Dan Turner, Mississippi Gov. Haley Barbour’s press secretary, writing in Friday’s daily clippings email to the governor’s staff, where he’s always sure to include hilarious jokes [via]

Another bully in politics with no observable boundaries when it comes to those they target as the enemy.

Just another crude ignorant bigot, who works for a bigot.

Mr. Turner also made a crude joke about the Japanese devastation. Some people just absolutely lack any sort of awareness or class. Sort of pity this person for how pathetic he is.

Gee, what a shock, Barbour won’t diavow a Klansman who may appear on Mississippi liscense plants because he’s a racist, and he’s also a bigot against the GLBT community.
