OMG, The Girl Scouts Have A New Flavor Cookie, Y’all!

We already love the Girl Scouts: They’re waaay more inclusive than those mean ol’ Boy Scouts. Their uniforms are sassier for one. And they get badges for selling cookies. Cookies!

None of that learning how to wrestle a bear or doing tracheotomies with a paper clip crap.

Well, now we love them even more: In honor of the 100th anniversary of the GSA (hey, even their initials are the same as “gay-straight alliance”!), the organization is baking up a new flavor!

Savannah Smiles, “bite-sized, lemon-wedge cookies dusted in powdered sugar and bursting with zesty lemon flavor,” pays homage to Girls Scout founder Juliette Gordon Low of Savannah, GA.

The cookies aren’t available in every region, though, so check the Cookie Locator mobile app (the Girl Scouts do not play!) to see if they’re in your hood. Or wait till they pop up on eBay at ten times the price. Your call.

I LOVE GS COOKIES! HOWEVER, THEY DON’T ALLOW LESBOS OR ANY RAINBOW KIDS TO JOIN, DO THEY?

If I had the cash, I’d directly donate to the troop, as that way 100% of my donation goes to them. The girls only get a certain percentage of the proceeds of the cookie sales.
