Is that a speech In NYC? or a visit to a local gay bar.

I had no idea there was a “New York Mississippi Society”. I can’t imagine too many New Yorkers will be convinced to vacation or move to that state. Not only is it basically ruled by the Christian Taliban, but the economy is in the gutter. I think 5,000 attendees is a little high unless they count passersby who had no idea this is going on. I may just have to volunteer for the protesters that day.

@barkomatic: Basically it’s LOTS of folks from MS who had the money & good sense to GTF OUT of MS. No doubt some of them took their bigot BS with them, to some degree. Who knows, but this event could be the Gov’s come-uppance concerning the recent law’s being passed. Gosh, I didn’t know about the queer son! At least he chose the gayest town in TX.
