Though it’s hardly news that One Million Moms has taken issue with the adorable Campbell’s Soup ad featuring real-life gay dads, we’d be remiss not to highlight the stink they’ve predictably raised, if for no other reason than to point out how sadly out of touch they are.
“A homosexual ‘married’ couple is featured prominently with a young boy (their son) in the new Campbell’s Soup advertisement. Campbell’s #RealRealLife campaign aims to change the face of the American family, the organization explains in a call to action.
“It starts off with the first man feeding soup to the little boy and in a ‘Star Wars’ Darth Vader voice says, ‘Luke, I am your father.’ Then the other man enters the scene and says, ‘No, Luke, I am your father.’ How confusing for this little boy and for all children viewing this commercial.”
Congrats, OMM. You’ve managed to suck the fun out of silly voices, playful meals and Star Wars in one fell swoop. We don’t even want to imagine what dinner is like at these moms’ homes.
How about we take this to the next level?
Our newsletter is like a refreshing cocktail (or mocktail) of LGBTQ+ entertainment and pop culture, served up with a side of eye-candy.
They go on to argue that, “This gay-inclusive commercial is attempting to desensitize viewers. There is concern about the way this ad is pushing the LGBT agenda, but an even greater concern is the way that they are attempting to redefine ‘family’ and ‘real marriage.'”
The force is very, very weak with these ones, so go ahead and rally your eleven members to boycott Campbell’s. Nobody will so much as notice.

Why doesn’t this sow go suckle her piglets?

Two loving parents: that says it all.

Any doctors out there feel like tying One Million Tubes?
nowliveit
F*** ’em. They’ll die off soon enough to allow the new consciousness of acceptance and love to reign on the planet; hmm, just like Jesus taught.
Let the haters who do not want to follow their Christ consciousness be relegated to the new HHH (hate hate hate), similar to the KKK. It’ll fade away as new loving souls come to the planet.
Those who hate others prove beyond a shadow of doubt that they have hate in their hearts. Didn’t Jesus teach about forgiveness and that God is the only one to judge?

The force may be weak but the *stupid* is strong with ’em.
Where has this ad even aired?
@Marky:
It’d be two million tubes but I suspect a majority are menopausal dried-up old apple dolls so…no need to tie up those shriveled bits of rawhide.

I am convinced that “OMM” is a group run by the advertising industry. Although one should never underestimate the stupidity of sectors of the American public, look how much airtime and mention these ads get after “outrage” is published

Uh, I just found this group called “One Million Moms” and they are certainly trash.

It’s probably like those nature shows where the mama birds regurgitate.

After exhaustive research, our investigative reporter has uncovered shocking evidence that One Million Moms doesn’t exist! She is a toothless, hairless old crone living in a pig sty suckling the spawn of her master, Satan and is being hunted for by the Illuminati! Watch out OMM your butt is rancid bacon!

Its the 21st century and people just cant grasp that life is normal no matter how you look at it.

The ad itself is so corny.

” …the new consciousness of acceptance and love to reign… ”
That’s kind of a forward looking comment…good that you made it. Now compare with the following things from the religious sector and see the similarities —
They “must” be accepted with respect, compassion, and sensitivity. Every sign of unjust discrimination in their regard should be avoided.
…..Catechism of the Catholic Church (quotes mine)
1. Therefore let us stop passing judgment on one another…..Romans 14:13
2. Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God…..Romans 15:7
3. …all of you, live in harmony with one another; be sympathetic, love as brothers, be compassionate and humble…..1 Peter 3:8
4. Be peaceable and considerate, and always to be gentle toward everyone….Titus 3:2

How is this group even relevant anymore. Have they been able to achieve any of their objectives save for publicity.
Joe
Hardly One Million Moms actually have the numbers for 1 million. That we know. What a nice TV commercial to inform people that gay dads/moms have normal lives just as everyone else. OMM would rather a child brought up in drug infested neighborhood with parent’s who are drug addicts… OMM are hardly an example as to the realities of today’s society.
GTT
Being gay IS natural – since around 3 to 5% of the population is born gay.
Therefore 2 people of the same sex being married and having a family IS natural.
What is OMM talking about?
I guess they are still living in the 1950s. LOL

One Million Moms = 3 guys and a fax machine.

@eclecticstarz: Talk about hate filled comments..just read some of the posts attacking the Million Moms or anyone who doesn’t agree with the gay agenda…Who are the intolerant hateful ones again?
gaym50ish
Not to worry. The One Million Moms has yet to mount a successful boycott. And in fact, far from being anywhere close to a million, I think their petitions have usually topped out at about 40,000 signatures. That’s about the number that protested Ellen Degeneres and JC Penney when Ellen was their spokesperson. And about 3 million PER DAY were watching Ellen’s daytime talk show.

@Fredbob789: I don’t think so. The resonce to OMM is exactly that: a response. Getting in someone’s face preaching morals from some dusty book (and misquoting on top of it, most of the time) is different than getting aboit, and lashing back at, the sudden attack. The oppressed grow to hate their opressors, that’s just how it works.
