In this documentary, the eyepatch-wearing impresario reflects on the era and all the fun we missed—or can’t remember.

Like the 80s flick Partners, Sister Mary partners a homophobic detective (James Vallo) with the poster child for gay stereotypes (Shawn Quinlan) in order to catch a nun serial killer. Plenty of appearances from folks you’ll see perform on gay Pride stages—ANT! Judy Tenuta! Bruce Vilanch!—and let’s not forget the omnipresent Brent Corrigan. As for the film itself? Let’s just say it’s not an Oscar contender.
