The social conservatives of Concerned Women for America are organizing a “free speech” rally tomorrow to honor anti-gay lawmaker Sally Kern, who claims gays are worst than terrorists and called non-Christians infidels. [CNW]
I know how politics can make strange bedfellows, but it is entirely beside me how Sally Kern (the helmet-haired hatemonger) can skate by her comments that can be seen as nothing more than a religious crusade.
She not only hates gays, but she hates everyone who isn’t a Baptist – which includes Catholics along with the other likely suspects: Muslims, Hindus, Budists and all the rest.
But because she is the lightning rod for homobashing, all of those other cowards are ignoring her personal religious crusade.
