Palin Welcomed Into Tabloid Fold

Former Us Weekly editor Bonnie Fuller accuses vice-presidential hopeful Sarah Palin of exploiting her 17-year old daughter, who is five-months pregnant.

Despite her supposed "Family Values" credentials, she and her husband Todd are being just as exploitative of her teenage daughter, Bristol, as any of these celebrity parents have been. Actually, even more so.

Not so in the case of the Palins. They took center stage with the full knowledge that their 17-year-old's five-months-along pregnancy was about to become front page news around the world. Bristol Palin hasn't been the star of a major kids TV show like Jamie Lynn or Miley Cyrus. She has not chosen a life of celebrity. But now, thanks to her mother's decision to accept the Republican Vice Presidential candidacy, her private life — her sex life — is as exposed as if she had long been a cover regular on Star or US Weekly.

She has unwittingly and literally become the poster child for her mother's anti-choice and abstinence-only education policies.

Meanwhile, check out the cover of this week's Us Weekly

The other funny thing about her embrace of abstinence only sex education: she married her high school sweetheart and had her first baby 8 months later. Seems that her daughter's apple hasn't fallen too far from the tree.

Yes, she should have turned down the job because of a mistake her daughter made. Why, women should just stay home and not seek any kind of office or high powered, high profile job if they have children.

You people are extremely cruel. I have been coming here on-and-off for a few years and I am always amazed at how juvenile everything is. Yes, we all like the dirty. But to the people who are writing this stuff. Do you have no sense of shame?

Bonnie Fuller is satan. She should talk about exploitation. Look at all the people she has exploited over the years to make a buck. Not to mention the people who worked under her and were treated so poorly. She is a hypocrite.

Bonnie Fuller is in no position to judge anyone.

That said, a VP candidate who supports abstinence only education, teaching creationism, and is against birth control should be questioned for ending up with a pregnant teenage daughter. How in the world can she even attempt to push her ideologies on America when she can't even make them work in her own home?

This is no different than Larry Craig pushing for a gay marriage ban in his state. Complete hypocrasy.

Imagine if Barack had a teenage daughter and she was preganant and unmarried, or photos surfaced of her underage drinking? It would be viewed as "typical" and the right wing would be going crazy. All of a sudden the moral majority is playing this down as if she's some sort of hero and we should be understanding. Give me a break! Sadly, America is dumbed down beyond repair, so the victim role has a great chance of sticking.

Sara Palin makes Dan Quayle look like a genius. She is a hypocrite and anti-science. If you are entire presidential campaign centers on straight talk and honesty (except for that whole Keating 5 stuff), then how can you expect people to trust and believe you when your first big decision involves selecting a hypocrite?

To call our governor a hyprocrite tells me you don't know this woman. She has the highest integrity of any public official I know. The attempt of liberal agenda politics to slander her shows how threatening she is to your agenda. Good luck good over evil eventualy comes out on top.
