Pat Robertson Takes On West Coast's "Gay Agenda"

Pat Robertson and his 700 Club are none-too-happy about California's queer-inclusive education measures and gay marriage push. At least they're giving I-35 a break, huh?

Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger signed an anti-discrimination bill into law earlier this year. That law says it's unlawful for school's to discriminate against and exclude gays from higher education. The move sparked conservative outcry of gay infiltration and a larger plot of "force fed" homosexuality.

Robertson concurs, saying it's a recruitment effort. Trust us, Robertson, we're not going to try to recruit you and your brethren, so just take a breather and relax.

So, discrimination is ok once the percentage you discriminate against goes below 10%? 5%? When does it become ok to discriminate?

What a douche.

Why would anyone listen to this idiot after he agreed with Falwell about 9/11 being caused by "the pagans, and the abortionists, and the feminists, and the gays and the lesbians who are actively trying to make that an alternative lifestyle, the ACLU, People For the American Way". After Falwell said this, Robertson said, "Well, I totally concur".

I don't know which is worse, what he was saying or the fact that the 700 club can't get a better editor for their news show. what the hell were those four square unfolding transitions? a 5 year old could do better work on iMovie.

Robertson should keep his beady eyes on his slave-labor diamond mines in South Africa.

This douche looks like a bobble-head doll.

Because the community can't reproduce naturally, we're not entitled to the benefits of marriage. Guess he better get to work on the radical part of the population that adopts their kids because they're sterile.

I always personally hated the religious right making these bogus, empty claims that we "recruit" young people and that that's a huge part of our so-called "agenda". It's nothing but fear-mongering to keep their frightened sheeple whipped up into a scared frenzy and stampeding to the voting booths to continue pushing their…(wait for it)…agenda.

When I was in school they taught us that back during the Spanish Inquisition they thought hurricanes, earth quakes, and plagues were caused by Sin, because people were ignorant as to nature and science, and nobody believed that now because modern people were too educated to believe in silly crap like that.

Wow, does the irony of this moment not totally burn?

This decaying old douche bag is passing his billions to his son, who will continue his Tax-exempt advance of the right-winged agenda - all with the donations of the old and feeble minded.

Where does he get this 2% number? The standard accepted percentage is 5-10%. I guess he has to make up lower numbers to justify his argument.

Oh, and if marriage is for procreation, then should sterile couples not be allowed to marry? Should post-menopausal widows not be allowed to marry?

By you people resorting to insults your only making yourselves look ignorant and immature. Marriage is defined as "the state of being united to a person of the opposite sex as husband or wife in a consensual and contractual relationship recognized by law". I have no problem with any type of civil union, but a marriage is between a man and a woman. Discrimination against any group of people is wrong but introducing the homosexual lifestyle within our public schools has no benefits at all. That decision should be left up to the child's parent of guardian.
