Patsy And Edina Return To Ruin The Olympics In New AbFab Special

Jennifer Saunders is a busy lady: She’s hammering out the new Spice Girls musical, appearing in the brit-com Dead Boss and, yes, readying a new AbFab special.

In the Absolutely Fabulous Olympics Special we find out Patsy and Eddy have somehow not been clued in to the fact that the London Games are about to start. (It’s always about them isn’t it). Having rented her home out to a A-List Hollywood star, Eddy’s worried she’s not A-list herself anymore—that she’s too old, that invites to hot parties aren’t forthcoming and, worst of all, Stella McCartney won’t return her calls. Somehow in a desperate bid for relevance, the girls end up carrying the torch in the Olympic stadium. (They actually shot there before it was completed.)

The airdate hasn’t been announced yet, but expect celeb cameos and appearances by the extended AbFab family: Saffie, Edina’s Mum, Bubbles, Bo and Marshall, and more.
