Paula Abdul's New Job: Playing Funny Lesbian Lady

So Ellen DeGeneres took Paula Abdul's job. Now Paula Abdul is taking Ellen DeGeneres' job!

But clearly, she doesn't have all the qualifications to be a "funny lady."

On last night's Divas on VH1 (not so much a collection of divas as it was diva-ettes impersonating real singing queens), Abdul used her hosting paycheck as a chance to show America there are no hard feelings about losing her American Idol chair to someone willing to be paid less than $10 million a year.

Is it terrible that we actually thought this was cute?

Actually I thought this was funny. I like Ellen, but this really made her dance schtick look dopey.

I thought that Paula's impression of Ellen was great. Kudos to whoever came up with this idea.

Actually, Hillary Swank already did this on Ellen's show.

Paula, bless her heart, is one of the worst hosts I've ever seen. Her delivery was wooden, her timing was off, her jokes weren't funny…thank goodness she didn't get a lot of screen time.

Not that it was enough to save the show anyway. It was one of the dullest programs I've seen in a very long time. If it hadn't been for Adele and Leona Lewis it would have been a complete waste. At least I was able to nap between their appearances.

And seriously, Miley fucking Cyrus? Diva? Bitch can't sing at all. I honestly don't understand why she's so popular. Even kids should be able to hear how horrendous she is.
