People Still Wants Gays on TV

Remember GLAAD’s report lamenting the loss of gay characters on the telly? Well, our friends over at AfterElton have offered some suggestions as to how we can get more homos on the small screen. One show they take to task is 24.

They must have forgotten when Logan Marshall Green (pictured, looking attractive) played Secretary of State Heller’s son who inadvertently led terrorists to his father. (Yeah, we’re total 24 nerds.) But, they’ll be happy to hear that transvestite comedian, Eddie Izzard, who’s no gay, will be joining the cast for season six.

We’re not sure, but something tells us he won’t be in drag. But, if he is, perhaps he can take a page from Flotilla DeBarge’s book and beat some folk with an oversized heel.
