As if somebody asked, Duck Dynasty patriarch Phil Robertson gave the official backwoods Christian take on sexually transmitted diseases this week, and issued another serious warning that we better start paying attention to “this Jesus stuff.”
Phil’s classic misinformation was spread during during an interview with Christian radio show Washington Watch.
Among other things, Robertson told host Tony Perkins that it is impossible for heterosexuals to contract STDs when having sex with their opposite-sex partner (it’s not).
When asked how it feels to battle “cultural bullies who want everybody to conform to this political correctness that they know is destroying the country,” Phil interprets this as an opportunity to talk about AIDS, that gay disease.

If you want to be safe from a lot of debilitating diseases, that’s the route to go, and it agrees with what god says.
Phil, a renown asshole, was slammed by media and briefly suspended by A&E last December after he told GQ that homosexuality was “wicked,” and similar to bestiality. He has since become the poster child for ingrained American homophobia, and sells his own line of talking keychains and lollipops at Wal-Mart.
