This is a must watch because of Matt. The show is kind of hit or miss generally speaking. Glad he is doing so many movies and TV guest spots now. The more of him the better as he has become a great role model.

I actually like the show mostly because they show a gay couple that actually seems to get along. They occaisionally show affection, it has showed them talking in bed together etc… Even Modern Family seems incredibly uncomfortable presenting that couple as a couple so I really give a lot of credit to The New Normal for doing that.
And….Ellen Barkin as a bigoted old right winger? Come on, there are drag queens all over West Hollywood working on THAT outfit.

I like the show. I’ve liked Ellen Barkin since THE BIG EASY. I’ve had a crush on Justin Bartha since some silly ABC comedy that lasted two eps. And who wouldn’t like Andrew Rannells?
But I love Mr. Matthew Boner. I mean Bomer. No I don’t. I mean Boner. If anyone’s got a spare apostrophe-s, you know where to put it.

Matt in the episode was the best! If it weren’t for White Collar, casting Matt would be a better partner for Bryan instead of David.

Matt Bomer is one of my favorite actors, and to see him on my favorite show, The New Normal, was a great way to begin 2013. I was working late at DISH last night, so I couldn’t see the show. Thankfully, my DISH Hopper uses PrimeTime Anytime to automatically record all four major networks, so I didn’t have to worry about setting an individual recording. With all the shows returning for the new year, it’s hard to keep track of my shows, so it’s nice that they’re all there for me.
