Queerty is better as a member
Dan and Terry are such a lovely couple.
Dan and Terry are so cute and what a victory for all of us that they got married under the new law. Dan has really represented the LGBT community for a long time over this issue of marriage. I feel we really owe a lot to him. He is also so good looking.
Tuxes? Maybe, but the pic is not clear enough to see and you certainly do not wear a long tie with a tux, but then Dan Savage was never a model dresser. Wishing them well, but Savage’s advice and style is very assimilationist and often leaves a lot to be desired from the point of real gay liberation and what we might have brought to the general culture as opposed to just fitting in and being accepted. Better to improve the whole lot rather than just get to join the party.
This is very much the language of the generation before gays thought they would ever get the right to marry.
How about some details? Would you have preferred that they dressed in drag? G Strings? Leather Chaps? What other step and fetchit characterization would you have them embody?
@EvonCook: Actually you can wear a long tie with a tux and it’s done quite often. I would rather do a bow tie, but it is done none the less.
I’m proud of these guys and proud of Washington. Chris and I have been together for 33 years and would love to get married. I doubt it will happen in Missouri in my lifetime. IMO, we need to push for federal laws governing marriage. State’s rights is becoming a burden on freedom.
I wish for you both a happy, healthy, long marriage. Thanks for your efforts on the equality front.
He’s kind of “GLAADED OUT” these days….How much of his foundations money actually goes to help anyone?
@EvonCook:Shut up, you fucking jealous loser.
