That’s androgeny? They look pretty explicitly male… Like they are just clearly male. And here I was hoping maybe someone did a series on real people. These are just silly models with… not really an ounce of gender-bending… boring

I had the same opinion like you defsteve (these pictures aren’t the best example of her work). However, I’ve watched the entire serie on Bettina Rheims’ website, it all made sense somehow; the photos are much more coherent.
