PHOTOS: AIDS LifeCycle Paints The California Coastline Red

The 545-mile AIDS LifeCycle ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles is closing in on the finish line: Day 5 is traditionally Dress in Red Day (aka “Red Dress Day”).  Legend has it the tradition began because, from the winding hills of the California coastline from Santa Maria to Lompoc, a swath of riders in red would look like a giant AIDS ribbon. We’re not sure if that’s true or not, but we tip our hat to the generous and fit participant’s in this years’ event.
