I'm not getting the St. Lucia ads, thankfully. A couple weeks ago, I couldn't be on Queerty but a moment, due to Lysol and cough suppressant ads. I begged for help in how to stop them but, alas, no one offered any. My Mac's anti-pop-up failed to rescue me, so I kept my speakers off, and clicked "X" on the ad. As mysteriously as the ads started appearing, they ceased. Been ad free for a 2 weeks.

How about some help ideas, instead of snarky snaps like No.5 Derek guys? Surely there is someone visiting this site who can can to our aid?

The problem with the St Lucia thing for me is that it pops up on every page (I didn't have it a month ago and maybe it will go away for me in a few days). It doesn't help that if St. Lucia were debating adding prison sentences for gays to its codes now, queerty would do a nice little story about it. One pop up on the homepage that doesn't repeat is fine. A pop up for something gay-posistive is better (or at least not homophobic).
