So either Fire Island is not diverse at all and black men don’t exist there or the photographer has a type.

@Palto: Have you ever been to “something like this?” The $200 ticket price and abundance of disco music – plus the high cost of spending a weekend in the Pines … I am 32 and I was one of the youngest people on that dance floor. I think even the go go boys were mostly over 25.

Jeffrey James Keyes, thank you for some excellent photos! When I hit Fire Island, I pretty much always go to the Grove…. so far it’s only been twice this year, Sunday of Memorial Day Weekend & 4th of July. The July 4th trip resulted in taking over 800 photos. Now I have to decide which are the 12 or so best to use in a photo spread for the LI gay club magazine I shoot for.
