Former Who’s the Boss star Dan Pintauro made it legal today with longtime boyfriend Will Tabares. The two men who’ve been engaged since last year tied the knot during a beachfront ceremony in Dana Point, Calif. today. The wedding was officiated by entertainer Julie Garnye.
The couple, who live in Nevada where same-sex marriage isn’t yet legal, had planned to livestream their wedding, but it seems Tabares hadn’t fully charged his livestream box. These things happen. He was nervous on his big day. The couple plans to upload video on their site later today.

I live in Nevada as well and would like to someday marry my bf of 13 years but I was not aware I could just go to California if im not a resident plus I did not think California has allowed full gay marriage since prop 8 as I thought it was stuck in legislative hell. Can anyone on here please advise me to the current laws as we really want to get married but here in Las Vegas yes sin city its still illegal but I can buy a male prostitute no problem outside Clark County and legaly have sex anywhere in Clark county as long as the money or creditcard transaction took place outside the county. Any advise for new subscriber on this matter. Thank You.

Yes, you can go to any state in the union and get married under their laws. That is why straight couples can go to Nevada and get married, and gays, for the time being to the many, but not all, states that have gay marriage.
That is why the Supreme Court is eventually going to have to negate all the anti-gay marriage laws, because the full faith and credit clause of the constitution means that transactions, contracts etc… conducted in one state must be given full rights in any other state. It is why if two 15 year olds get married in Alabama, and then move to a state where 15 year olds aren’t legally allowed to marry, that new state still recognizes the legality of the Alabama marriage.
As for Prop 8, the U.S. Supreme court struck it down, so head to Ca. if you want and get married! 🙂
And lastly, congratulations to the happy couple. 🙂
