Are we going to love “Looking,” HBO’s upcoming gay-focused series? It’s still too early to tell, but the cable network is doing what they can to drum up some early buzz by inviting gay bloggers to check out the set.
Our pal Mike from Accidental Bear dropped by recently to snap some shots and schmooze with the cast and crew. What did he discover? Well, apparently the place is crawling with homosexuals.
Other than that, we’re pretty light on spoilers. The show features Frankie J. Alvarez, Murray Bartlett, Russell Tovey and Jonathan Groff. Scott Bakula has a recurring role, presumably as a visitor from the future.
Additional cast members all have names that look like anagrams, and include O.T. Fagbenle (elegant fob), Lauren Weedman (anal weened rum), and Ptolemy Slocum (comely slut mop).
How about we take this to the next level?
Our newsletter is like a refreshing cocktail (or mocktail) of LGBTQ+ entertainment and pop culture, served up with a side of eye-candy.
We do not know who any of these people are, but we look forward to saying “we were talking about Ptolemy Slocum before he was a household name.”
The marketing department’s also revving up the social media engine, with a genuinely adorable Instagram account, Facebooks and Twitters, Storify, and it’s only a matter of time before they’re on Keeblet.
“Looking” will premiere January 19, and can be watched on any of the major torrenting sites, and probably also on television, whatever that is. See a few photos below and click over to Accidental Bear for the full report.

I was cool with all of this until Tyler Oakley showed up.

@redcarpet what do you have against Tyler Oakley? I don’t understand why so many people are negative toward gay you tubers, It’s really sad to be that way. They are young but are helpful to a lot of kids who have no one else to talk to about themselves. So the next time you feel like being a dick ask yourself when was the last time you gave some time to help a gay kid.

Tasty Bear should have accidentally bent Scally Lad right over that bathtub. Welcome to America, you sexy lil thing.

@redcarpet: So true. That kid is unbearable.

Woah @Dev.C: Projecting much? I just find him annoying and somewhat arrogant. I get this cliqish, fame bubble vibe when ever I see or read anything by him. I don’t get the same feeling from Davey Wavey’s stuff. And frankly I’m entitled to, just like you are entitled to be a huge fan.
I know a lot of people have accused him of various -ism’s. I just don’t enjoy what he has to say.
