PHOTOS: Gay Couple Has Picture-Perfect Wedding Proposal In Central Park

PHOTOS: Gays and lesbians have been waiting so long to get married that we’ve had a lot of time to think about how we’d propose. One woman had the best idea we’ve seen yet: Over the weekend she surprised her girlfriend with a boat ride in Central Park, then orchestrated a group on a bridge to open rainbow-colored umbrellas spelling out “Will you marry me?”

The couple is choosing to remain anonymous, but judging from the big smooch in the last photo, we’re guessing her answer was “yes.” (Can you imagine if she’d said no?)
