In West Hollywood, they really should paint the cross walks in rainbow colors, permanently. The price of the paint is about the same, though it might take more labor. The borders between the colors don’t need to be particularly neat.
Perhaps some other cities will follow suit.

I have to say, it is pretty. But they had to do something, after S.D. renamed a street, and the giant rainbow flag at Castro and Market.
But again, the WeHo drive, Santa Monica Blvd, is a frigging freeway. Typical bad Southern CA taste. Darlings, move the strip to someplace quiter, and with more of a village like oeuvre.

They should just leave it that way, considering the thousands of dollars it takes to paint a crosswalk.

That’s great. Is it permanently painted? From the picture, it looks so. I’ll have to drive over and check it out.
