On Saturday night, guests at the GLAAD Media Awards after-party in San Francisco, including actress Laverne Cox, Jaymes and James from Amazing Race, supermom Jennifer Tyrrell and Prop 8 plaintiffs Jeff Zarrillo and Paul Katami, got behind the lens to pose for the #QueertyTakeover photo station.
Once again our friends at Snap Yourself popped up at the GLAAD Awards after-party, this time at the Hilton in S.F., to give the tipsy attendees a chance to show their true colors with a fun-spirited photo station.
Guests got to see themselves featured on the Queerty home page instantly on a oversized projection screen. They also got to take home a copy of their photos to put up on their fridge and remember that one time they got to see Adam Lambert and Gavin Newsom onstage.
If you want to find your image — or just see who was there — you can visit queerty.com/glaad2013 now!
How about we take this to the next level?
Our newsletter is like a refreshing cocktail (or mocktail) of LGBTQ+ entertainment and pop culture, served up with a side of eye-candy.
You can also browse through photos of the GLAAD Media Awards after-parties in New York and Los Angeles, which took place earlier this year.

Congrats to ALL the winners at this year’s GLAAD awards show! And a special shout out
to Adam Lambert for his grace under fire always.Straight “hunks” often get more attention from much of the gay community than an actual out proud gay performer.Lambert is much more than a “pretty face” and an awesome voice. He is a hell of a nice human being.

OMG, do I remember the Jaguar. A tapas joint today?! I think I met one of three main men in that place. It might even have been the first gay bar I ever went into — on LSD.
